A little less chill, a little more funk. That’s the vibe of „Never Give Up“ in a nutshell. Grown up with funky bass lines, danceable grooves and Jazz chords Gold Lounge mixes these early influences with electronic music which he discovered later in life. „I deeply fell in love with artists like Moroder and Kraftwerk as they represented a breath of fresh air for my ears,“ says Michele Felloni aka Gold Lounge.
And with this album he has created a wonderful blend of analogue, funky sounds and electronic music. Female and male vocals complete this mood lifting album.
The album’s title track is an easy going disco song with brass elements and a „Let’s do this“ attitude that you won’t be able to resist. Still Gold Lounge shows with songs like „I Need Time“ that Chillout music is a huge part of his musical home.
So put on your dancing shoes or just make yourself comfortable – whatever you choose to do, just „Never Give Up“.
As Gold Lounge is located in Bergamo, Italy this song also marks a spark of hope to him due to the critical health situation that especially Italian citizens currently suffer from caused by the Corona virus.
When Gold Lounge named his upcoming album „Never Give Up“ none of us could have imagined how important messages as these could be to the world only a few weeks later.
Let’s stay strong together and dance – even if we’re alone at home. We’ll never be lonesome.
This 2020 is a year that we'll remember.
A phantom disease has sown and is still sowing death and despair in the world and we will carry the consequences for a long time.
But from the ashes we usually reborn, stronger than before and with new ideas.
The title of my new album which will be released on May 1st carries this message "Never give up" even when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel.
For this reason I wanted an album different from the usual chillout and lounge cliché.
I wanted more rhythm, warmer sounds, greater presence of vocal tracks because people are important, their heart and soul are present and come out of their voice.
In short an album which is inspired by a rebirth, also for me and for my music.
The first single was released on April 17 and is already available on the main music platforms (Spotify, Apple music, Amazon etc.)
It's called "Infinity", and already from this track you can understand how the outgoing album develops.
Enjoy and remember that any comment about is really appreciated.
I did it Again ! After all, when Thomas invites me to remix one of his tracks, I can't refuse, they are always qualitatively relevant works and for me it is a pleasure to get my hands on trying to give my personal touch without changing the mood of the song.

I'm very happy about this experiment made with the great collaboration of my friend Mari Conti and the support of the videomaker Tony Zecchinelli.
For the first time I tried to be as film-director experimenting with the editing of this video based on the song " Like a feather" taken from my album "Floating".
The main idea has been to use black and white instead of colours to add major deep, darkness but also a little bit of mysticism to the atmosphere of the song that is basically a trip hop style song with ethereal sounds and voice.
The story begins as a journey that apparently takes two people away but that then brings them back even if a form of guardian angel. In fact, the video closes with a message of hope ..... I'll be close to you!
I hope you like our experiment and ...obviously the song !
